The Lux Collective has signed a hotel management agreement with Big Waves Development for SALT of Virgin Beach, a new eco-conscious resort in Bali’s Karangasem region.

The property is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2028, representing The Lux Collective’s first entry into Indonesia under its conscious luxury brand SALT.

Virgin Beach is known for its unspoilt coastline, white sand and turquoise waters. The resort will feature 84 rooms with views of the Indian Ocean and Mount Agung. Designed for eco-travellers and conscious families, SALT of Virgin Beach will integrate with its natural surroundings and focus on sustainability initiatives including coral reef restoration, plastic-free operations, waste separation, and the use of sulfate-free products.

Facilities will include a rooftop event space, an in-house bakery using local produce, and the SALT Equilibrium Spa offering wellness treatments such as float therapy, cryo-sauna and a G-bar focusing on beauty and mental wellbeing.
