This year, our annual CSR activity took a different direction, driven by an urgent call to action. In November, the eruption of Mount Lewotobi in East Flores, NTT (East Nusa Tenggara), displaced many residents, leaving them in need of immediate assistance.
We strongly believe in extending our support to those in need, especially in times of crisis. While we had initially planned a different CSR activity for this year, we chose to postpone that activity to next year, focusing instead on helping the affected communities in Flores. Through the incredible support of the Bali Caring Community, we were able to channel our efforts to where they were most needed.
About Bali Caring Community (BCC)
BCC, established in 2010, is a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to direct, hands-on humanitarian assistance. They ensure that donations are delivered personally to those who need them most, ensuring transparency and maximizing impact. By connecting donors directly with victims, BCC ensures every contribution reaches its intended purpose without unnecessary intermediaries. Their dedication aligned perfectly with our goal to support the Lewotobi victims.
Our Contribution
On November 20, we submitted a donation of IDR 20,000,000 to BCC. With the help of their team and local volunteers, the funds were used to provide essential items, food, and necessities for the victims. The distribution was carried out promptly to 10 different points, and we were heartened to see photos of the relief efforts, confirming the delivery of the aid.
This small effort reminds us of the power of coming together to help those in need. It also serves as a reflection of our values — not just as a business, but as a part of the wider community.
We hope this inspires others to step up and contribute, whether big or small, to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
