Vietnamese hotel brand Wink has joined Unscripted by Hyatt, marking the debut of Hyatt’s independent hotel collection outside the US.
Under an agreement between Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Indochina Kajima – a joint venture between Indochina Capital and Japan’s Kajima Corporation – six Wink properties now operate under Unscripted by Hyatt: Wink Saigon Centre, Wink Danang Centre, Wink Danang Riverside, Wink Tuy Hoa Beach, Wink Can Tho Centre, and Wink Hai Phong Centre.
A seventh property, Wink Hanoi Westlake, is scheduled to open in late 2026. Together, the portfolio represents more than 2,000 rooms across Vietnam’s major cities and emerging regional destinations, including Can Tho, Tuy Hoa and Hai Phong.
The move also more than doubles Hyatt’s presence in the country from four to 10 hotels.
Wink is the first brand outside the US to join the Unscripted by Hyatt collection, part of Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio. The model is designed to allow independent hotels to retain their identity while accessing Hyatt’s global distribution, systems, and the World of Hyatt loyalty programme.
Since its debut in 2021 with Wink Saigon Centre, Wink has grown nationwide as a made-in-Vietnam hotel brand aimed at modern travellers, with an emphasis on tech-enabled service, sustainability and locally rooted design.
The brand’s properties feature digital-first check-in, smart room functionality, and sustainability initiatives including LEED Gold certification and reduced single-use plastics.
To mark the launch, World of Hyatt members will earn 500 bonus points per qualifying night for stays at participating Wink hotels between 1 January and 31 March 2026.
