Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy, has opened its first property in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

The 345-room hotel is located right off the Woodlands checkpoint along the Singapore-Johor Bahru Causeway, or a 45-minute drive from Senai International Airport.

Singaporeans on weekend getaways will also appreciate its proximity to SKS City Mall, while international visitors will welcome the hotel’s easy access to Singapore.

Families can book the family room or family suite, each offering two bedrooms, a master room with a king-sized bed for parents and a kids’ room with bunk bed. There’s also Johor Bahru’s largest kids’ pool to dunk in, while adults shape up at the fitness centre.

Four dining options are available, including all-day dining restaurant, Daily Social; &More by Sheraton which serves coffee by day and cocktails by night; Asian flavours for suppers at Soo Noodles; and the speakeasy-style Unspoken Bar.

Business guests and groups have a choice of 2,295sqm of events space, including a grand ballroom which can accommodate up to 1,400 guests, and meeting rooms.
