Rixos will enter Thailand with Rixos Water World Phuket, a 600-room all-inclusive resort in Mai Khao featuring a waterpark, extensive dining and major MICE facilities.
Ennismore and Central Group Capital have signed Rixos Water World Phuket, marking the Rixos brand’s debut in Thailand. The resort will open in early 2028 following an extensive renovation.
The property is currently managed by Ennismore and sits on the shores of Mai Khao in Phuket’s Thalang District. It will introduce Rixos’ luxury all-inclusive model to one of Asia’s established international leisure destinations.
The project also supports Ennismore’s wider expansion of its all-inclusive portfolio across Asia. In addition, Rixos Phu Quoc Vietnam will join the brand’s regional pipeline.
Rixos targets Phuket’s international leisure market
Phuket represents the next stage of Rixos’ growth in Asia. The island combines international demand with culture, beaches, dining and entertainment.
Rixos Water World Phuket will offer access to Mai Khao while remaining within reach of Patong Beach and Bang Tao Beach. Guests can also visit the cultural districts of Old Phuket Town. The resort will draw on Rixos’ Turkish hospitality heritage. At the same time, its concept will combine luxury, entertainment and family-oriented experiences.
The development will include more than 600 guestrooms and villas. Guests will also have access to five food and beverage venues and an integrated waterpark. The resort will also provide shared spaces for relaxation, activity and social interaction. These areas will complement its tropical setting and beachfront location.
Waterpark and entertainment anchor the resort concept
The integrated waterpark will form a central part of the resort experience. It will offer attractions and activities for different age groups.
Guests will also have access to swimming pools and beachside leisure. In addition, the resort will provide sports programmes, wellness activities and live entertainment. Evening programming will include performances, live music and shows. Entertainment will therefore form a significant part of the Rixos all-inclusive offer.
Rixos Water World Phuket will also include one of Phuket’s largest banqueting and MICE facilities. The space will target large events, conferences and business travellers.

Five dining venues to support all-inclusive offer
The resort will feature five food and beverage concepts. Together, they will reflect Rixos’ “world of choice” dining philosophy.
Guests will have access to all-day dining and à la carte speciality restaurants. Meanwhile, beachfront venues will provide more informal dining options. The culinary programme will include Thai, Asian, Italian and Latin American influences. It will also feature international dishes.
In addition, guests will find poolside snacks, casual dining, bars and lounges. These options will form part of the wider all-inclusive experience.
Family, wellness and sports facilities expand guest offer
Younger guests will have access to the Rixos Kids Club. The resort will also include a dedicated Teens Club for social and entertainment activities. Meanwhile, the Exclusive Sports Club will support active stays. Facilities will include an indoor gym and a multifunctional space for group classes.
The sports offer will also feature an outdoor jungle gym near the beach. Multiple sports courts will complete the programme. Adults will have access to a spa inspired by Rixos’ Turkish heritage. They can also use dining and social venues or explore beach and water activities.
Rooms and public spaces will combine contemporary interiors with premium amenities. The resort will also offer views across beaches and tropical landscapes.

Ennismore expands global all-inclusive pipeline
The signing expands Ennismore’s presence in the lifestyle all-inclusive sector. The group now has more than 70 all-inclusive resorts open or under development.
Together, those properties represent more than 30,000 rooms worldwide.
Recent openings include SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, Rixos Murjana and Rixos Tersane Istanbul. Other additions include Rixos Obhur Jeddah, SLS Playa Mujeres and Hyde Bodrum.
Meanwhile, the pipeline includes six new all-inclusive resorts in Mexico. These projects will mark the Rixos brand’s debut in the Americas.
Future developments also include Rixos Magawish Bay Views Egypt and Rixos Dubai Islands.
Phuket resort joins ALL Inclusive Collection
Rixos Water World Phuket will join Ennismore’s ALL Inclusive Collection. The digital platform features all-inclusive resorts from Rixos, SO/, Hyde, SLS and Swissôtel.
The collection focuses on all-inclusive properties that combine design, dining and entertainment. It builds on Rixos’ “all-inclusive, all-exclusive” philosophy.
Under the model, dining, drinks, activities and entertainment are included in the guest stay. Ennismore positions the approach as an alternative to traditional all-inclusive resort formats.
Adding Rixos Water World Phuket will therefore expand the group’s presence in Thailand’s resort market. It will also add a major new all-inclusive hospitality development to Phuket’s Mai Khao area.
