Next stop: Check in at this resort built from buses

The Bus Resort will span some 8,600sqm next to the popular Changi Village Hawker Centre in Singapore.

A fleet of 20 decommissioned public buses will be getting a new lease of life as a sustainability-focused resort in a rustic corner of Singapore.

Commissioned by travel agency WTS Travel, The Bus Resort is set to occupy an 8,600sqm plot of vacant land near the popular Changi Village Hawker Centre. The resort is estimated to be launched in 2Q 2023.

Rooms will measure around 28sqm, featuring its bathtubs as well as a 15sqm outdoor space that can be used for barbecues. Each room is expected to be priced at around S$300 to S$400 a night.

An Events and Experiences Centre nestled within the resort will provide space for activities such as pilates and yoga.

The Bus Resort will span some 8,600sqm next to the popular Changi Village Hawker Centre in Singapore.

The resort will plug into the vibrant Changi Village ecosystem of F&B, retail stores, counting the newly renovated Changi Village Hawker Centre, as well as Changi East Boardwalk, Changi Chapel & Museum and Smith Marine floating kelong as its nearby attractions.
