The Green Leaf Niseko Village, Tapestry Collection by Hilton resort has opened at the foot of Mount Niseko Annupuri within Niseko Village Ski Resort.

Operating exclusively during Niseko’s White Season, the 200-key property offers direct ski-in, ski-out access to the resort’s renowned powder terrain.

Designed as a contemporary alpine lodge, the hotel blends natural textures and curated art to create a restorative retreat for skiers and winter travellers.

Purpose-built amenities include dedicated ski lockers, slope access and spaces designed for post-ski relaxation.

A highlight is the hotel’s indoor-outdoor onsen. The Green Leaf Onsen is a natural rock pool onsen with mineral-rich water from a natural spring emerging at 53.2°C, cooling to just over 40°C before flowing into the baths.

Separate indoor and outdoor baths for men and women are available, along with a Rotenburo (open-air bath) surrounded by large boulders and snow-covered pines.

Guests may also enjoy the Juhyo Spa, named after the region’s snow-covered trees, offers tailored treatments, and a fully equipped fitness centre.

Dining experience

Dining options include Goshiki, the hotel’s signature restaurant serves up diverse Japanese and Western flavors for a la carte lunches and international buffet dinner.

At the heart of the lobby, Tomioka White provides a social space for coffee, apres-ski gatherings, light bites, or fireside cocktails. The lobby lounge also offers a convenient takeout breakfast option for guests before they hit the slopes. Guests may also access the culinary offerings at Hilton Niseko Village and Niseko-Yo.

Artful stays

Art is integral to the guest experience at the lodge, which features more than 200 works by Japanese painter Soichiro Tomioka, who’s known for his winter landscapes and self-developed pigment, Tomioka White.

Complementing this is the work of Sapporo-based artist and graphic designer Emi Shiratori, whose murals appear at the lobby entrance and spa façade, alongside hand-drawn illustrations on guestroom doors, ski lockers and in-room details.
