Natour signs for Lombok property

JAKARTA – State-owned hotel company PT Indonesian Natour (HIN) has signed with another state-owned company, Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), to build a five-star hotel in the Mandalika complex on Lombok.

HIN’s president director Iswandi Said the new hotel would be well equipped to handle the meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition sector (MICE).

The Mandalika Resort on Kuta Bay in south Lombok is positioned as an eco-destination. The overall development will incorporate the latest environmentally friendly technologies such as solar farms, Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plants, and dedicate more than 51% of its land to green spaces.

Under the original masterplan, key amenities will include more than 10,500 rooms, a golf course, a theme park, water park, equestrian facilities and a convention centre for 5000-7000 people and an international street circuit for a MotorGP Mandalika 2021 event.
