Spanish hotel company Meliá Hotels International has opened the Innside by Meliá Saigon Central in Ho Chi Minh City, the first hotel operated under the Innside brand in Vietnam.

The new hotel is the third brand to launch in Vietnam following Meliá Hotels & Resorts and Sol by Meliá, further consolidating the company’s plan to grow across the Asia Pacific region. The Innside by Meliá Saigon Central is the seventh property operating in the country, with an additional five hotels in the pipeline.

Located in the city’s District 1, the hotel is within walking distance to key historic attractions such as The Opera House and Notre Dame Cathedral. The property has 69 guestrooms and suites and soon will open a 24-hour fitness space. Yoga lessons and other activities will be available.

Earlier this year, Meliá opened the 152-room Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort, its sixth hotel in Vietnam and its fourth in the country under the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand. For the broader Asia Pacific region, the company has 21 properties open and 22 properties in the pipeline.
