InterContinental Halong Bay Resort is set to open in summer 2025, located at the entrance to Ha Long City, within the exclusive Ha Long Marina Urban Area, just outside Bai Chay.
The resort’s design incorporates regional heritage and the striking natural beauty of the bay. The architecture reflects ancient folklore, while the interiors draw inspiration from traditional Vietnamese bamboo basket boats, with vibrant colours and textures evoking the land and sea.
With 174 guestrooms, 60 residences, and 41 private villas, the resort will feature six dining venues, including Roku & Sky Bar on the rooftop, offering Japanese cuisine with a local twist, and Yulong Mansion, a modern Cantonese restaurant.

A spa in collaboration with Margaret Dabbs London and Sodashi will offer wellness treatments, while recreational facilities include outdoor pools, a kids’ club, and The Game Room with a cinema.
Additionally, the resort offers experiences such as luxury cruises through Ha Long Bay, explorations of hidden caves, and visits to fishing villages.
Corporate events and weddings can also be organised here, with five dedicated event spaces, including a Grand Ballroom that accommodates up to 1,050 guests.
Located just two hours from Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, the resort provides a luxury base for exploring Ha Long Bay or for pre and post-cruise stays.
