IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a contract to operate Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud in partnership with Jakarta-based housing developer, Ristia Group.
Ristia Group owns the Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran, which is managed by Marriott International.
The 130-room Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud, due to open in 2027, will be IHG’s second property in the Ubud area, joining the group’s Kimpton Bali Ubud.
The Indigo in Ubud will be located near Blangsinga waterfall and village, an area also known for a crafts market and proximity to a riverside temple.
IHG said the latest hotel development is part of the company’s broader strategy to grow its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Southeast Asia and Korea, which now totals 92 current and planned hotels.
