Hilton and Kalyani Group will develop two 300-room hotels near Bengaluru airport, adding Conrad and Hilton properties alongside more than 72,000 sq ft of event space.
Through a new agreement with Kalyani Group, Hilton is advancing its Hilton Bengaluru expansion with two hotels offering a combined 600 rooms. Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport are expected to open in 2030 near Kempegowda International Airport.
The signing will add a second Conrad and a fourth Hilton-branded hotel to Bengaluru. It also extends Hilton’s relationship with Kalyani Group following the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield in 2024.
Each hotel will feature 300 guest rooms, dining venues, meeting and event facilities, wellness areas and other amenities.
Two hotels planned at aerospace and business hub
Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport will form a cluster complex in KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park.
The area is developing as a centre for commercial, technology, aerospace and business activity. Meanwhile, the two hotels will sit approximately 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport.
The complex will offer more than 72,000 sq ft of event space. Hilton expects the MICE facilities to serve demand for large conferences, corporate meetings and social events.
The location and facilities are intended to attract both business and leisure travellers as Bengaluru continues to expand as a major commercial and travel market.
Alan Watts, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said:
“This landmark signing represents a significant milestone in strengthening Hilton’s presence in Bengaluru and reflects our long-term confidence in the market. As we advance our ambition to exceed 400 hotels in India over the next decade, Bengaluru will remain a key focus for expansion. Together with Kalyani Group, we look forward to bringing another world-class hospitality destination to the city that will serve the evolving needs of travelers and contribute to Bengaluru’s continued growth as a global business and leisure hub.”
Conrad and Hilton brands expand in India
Conrad Hotels & Resorts currently operates in Bengaluru and Pune, while Conrad Jaipur is under development. Conrad Bengaluru Airport will further expand the luxury brand’s presence in India.
Conrad focuses on contemporary luxury, design, art and experiences connected to the destination.
Hilton Hotels & Resorts, meanwhile, currently has eight properties in India. Its locations include Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurugram, Jaipur and Goa.
A further 11 Hilton properties are under development across the country.
The two new Bengaluru hotels will combine a luxury brand and a full-service brand within a single destination, while also adding significant meeting and event capacity.
Mr. Mohan Raju, managing director, Kalyani Developers, said:
“Our continued partnership with Hilton reflects the strength of its brands and the confidence we have in its long-term vision for Bengaluru. Following the success of DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield, this signing marks a natural next step in expanding our hospitality presence in the city. We are pleased to bring Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport to support the city’s growing demand for high-quality hospitality offerings, while contributing to its continued evolution as one of India’s most dynamic business and travel destinations.”
Partnership builds on existing Bengaluru presence
The agreement strengthens the existing relationship between Hilton and Kalyani Group. Their previous collaboration delivered DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield in 2024.
Priyanka M Raju and Rohan M Raju, Directors, Kalyani Developers, said:
“This project represents an important milestone for us as we look to build on our family’s longstanding commitment to elevating Bengaluru’s hospitality landscape and creating destinations that contribute meaningfully to the city’s growth and development. Together with Hilton, we look forward to bringing this vision to life by creating a distinctive hospitality offering that combines the best of a world-class full-service brand and a luxury brand under one destination.
The Hilton Bengaluru expansion will therefore add 600 rooms across two brands while also increasing the city’s supply of large-scale MICE space.
Both Conrad Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels & Resorts participate in Hilton Honors, Hilton’s loyalty programme covering 28 hotel brands. Members booking through Hilton channels can access benefits including flexible Points and money payments, member discounts and standard Wi-Fi.
The Hilton Honors app also provides digital check-in, room selection and Digital Key functionality.
