Dusit’s new island D2-light lands in the Maldives

Dusit Hotels and Resorts will soft open its first all-inclusive lifestyle resort in the Maldives on 27 July 2025. Located on Feydhoo Island, just seven minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport, dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives marks the company’s second property in the country.

The upscale resort comprises 127 villas across seven categories, ranging from 77 to 306 square metres. Most include private decks and plunge pools, with options ranging from beachfront retreats to overwater villas.

dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives introduces a contemporary approach to the all-inclusive model. Guests will have access to à la carte dining at five restaurants, unlimited premium beverages, live entertainment, and resort credits for customised experiences. Facilities include the Namm Spa, rooftop bar, beachfront yoga, and a conference venue for up to 240 guests.

The resort will celebrate its grand opening in Q4 2025. In the lead-up, Dusit is offering a launch package that includes round-trip speedboat transfers, a complimentary villa upgrade, a signature floating breakfast, and 24-hour check-in and check-out. Dusit Gold members can also access exclusive rates and privileges.

Yogeswaran Veerasamy, who has more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality across the Maldives and Southeast Asia, serves as general manager.
