Dusit heads for the coast in the Philippines

The hotel will offer a water park, 18-hole golf course, dining and retail areas, outdoor activity hubs, and event spaces.

Come 2029, Dusit International will manage the ASAI Camaya Coast in the Philippines, a 150-key lifestyle hotel at the upcoming 20 million sqm Camaya Coast development in Mariveles, Bataan.

This comes on the back of a hotel management agreement deal with Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation, a local leading real estate and land-development company.

The hotel will offer a water park, 18-hole golf course, dining and retail areas, outdoor activity hubs, and event spaces.

Apart from Bataan’s white-sand beach, ASAI Camaya Coast guests can consider eco-friendly activities in tune with the area’s forest, preserved to house native fruit trees, orchids, and wildlife such as wild goats, wild boars, and exotic birds.

Calling Camaya Coast “a game-changing development for Bataan”, the plan is to shape the area “into a welcoming seaside township that business and leisure travellers, multigenerational families, and long-term residents can enjoy for generations,” said Manuel Carlos L. Ilagan Jr., president, Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation.

Bataan welcomed 1.2 million visitors in 2024, marking a 41.2% YoY hike. It offers easy access from Metro Manila in about four hours by car, or 90 minutes via the Manila–Camaya ferry, making it a popular quick escape from the capital. Adding ease to transport is the soon-to-open Camaya Airport, which just completed test flights in early December.
