A Toy Story hotel is coming to Japan in 2021

A new Toy Story themed hotel is coming to Tokyo Disney Resort in 2021, after the project was first announced in 2018 by owner Oriental Land.

Fans of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and toy gang can check into one of the 595 rooms across 11 floors, which also include restaurants, car parks and a Disney shop.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel is located directly in front of the Disney Resort Line’s Bayside Station, with easy access to both Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland.

Japan’s fifth Disney hotel is also the resort brand’s first ‘moderate type’ model, filling the gap between the existing ‘deluxe’ (Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Disney Ambassador Hotel, and Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta) and ‘value’ type (Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel) properties at Tokyo Disney Resort.

Conceptual art from Tokyo Disney Resort unveiled a hotel filled with colours and play, bringing to life the world of toys based on the animated classic favourite by Disney and Pixar. Rooms will also be designed based on the film’s human lead, Andy’s bedroom.

Disney fans can also look forward to Tokyo DisneySea’s upcoming Fantasy Springs, slated for a 2023 launch.
