Regent Hotels & Resorts has made its debut in Vietnam with the opening of the Regent Phu Quoc, the first IHG resort in Southeast Asia.
The resort offers 176 suites and 126 villas featuring a contemporary spin on traditional Vietnamese design, with expansive windows and verandas that look out to either its landscapes gardens or the ocean.
Guests staying at Regent Phu Quoc will be able to enjoy a more luxurious experience with complimentary offerings like gourmet beverages and snacks, breakfast buffet, laundry services and unpacking services.
For now, guests can dine at Regent Phu Quoc’s six restaurants and bars including the Taste Gallery which provides signature dining and cultural exploration; Rice Market which serves up modern Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine; Ocean Club for local and Mediterranean cuisine and rum-based cocktails; and Fu Bar which specialises in gin-based cocktails.
In the next coming months, Regent Phu Quoc will see the addition of Oku, the only restaurant with an Omakase counter in Phu Quoc; and Bar Jade, a speakeasy showcasing fine artisanal spirits and bespoke cocktails concocted with locally-sourced herbs.
For wellness, guests can look to the The Spa that provides acoustic, vibrational and hot sand therapy, and offers a customised programme guided by the resident Holistic Wellness Coach.
Those seeking a more luxurious experience can opt for The Regent Club which allows access to a private rooftop infinity pool among other privileges and the ability to curate bespoke experiences. Personalised experiences at Regent Phu Quoc can come in the form of a sensory bath experience in the guest’s own suite or villa or private dining in cabanas.
