Jakarta. Indonesia runs the risk of losing its much-vaunted demographic bonus in the next decade as structural unemployment appears to take root in the economy.

According to data provided by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of unemployed people holding bachelor’s degrees has increased to 6.22 percent of the total in 2016 compared to 5.34 percent a year earlier.

Jakarta. More than a third of Indonesians born in early to mid-90s claim they are unhappy with their job — especially with their low salary, the local arm of international job portal revealed in a survey released on Thursday (21/07).

The survey, conducted in June-July this year, randomly sampled 27,000 respondents between the age of 22 and 26 — commonly called the millennials — with one to four years of working experience.
