Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc has opened its doors as part of an integrated resort in Vietnam.

Situated on Phu Quoc island’s picturesque north-west coast, Vietnam’s first Radisson Blu Resort heralds a new era for the Radisson Hotel Group.

Tauzia to open first SE Asian hotel in Malacca, under the Preference Hotel brand come October

Indonesian homegrown hotel management company Tauzia Hotel Management has unveiled details its South-east Asia expansion, in addition to enhancements to its flagship Harris brand to strenghten its foothold in the growing four-star segment in Indonesia.

Marking the company’s first foray beyond Indonesia is the 30-room Liu Men Malacca, which is expected to open under the Preference Hotel brand come October.

IHG signs four-hotel portfolio in India

IHG signed a management agreement with Lotus Trans Travel to open four hotels in India under the Holiday Inn brand.

The Holiday Inn Bodhgaya in Bihar, the Holiday Inn Kushinagar, the Holiday Inn Gorakhpur and the Holiday Inn Shravasti in Uttar Pradesh are scheduled to open between 2020 and 2023, and add more than 450 guestrooms to IHG’s inventory.

Archipelago ventures into hostel budget accommodation with Nomad Hostel

Archipelago International has unveiled its first wholly budget brand, Nomad Hostel, which made its debut in Jakarta last week.

The Indonesia-based hospitality management company’s latest brand provides dormitory-style shared rooms and bathrooms as well as communal facilities such as a lounge, restaurant, laundry facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi.
