Sulawesi Earthquake and Tsunami – Collecting Donations

Dear Donors, Clients, Candidates, Vendors, Friends, Family, Resorts and others,

Further to our report on our Lombok efforts, we actually had made arrangements for one more pick-up truck to leave to Lombok this Friday.

However, due to the recent unfortunate events in Sulawesi, where a very powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake and a triggered tsunami has caused severe devastation in Palu and surrounding areas with death toll likely to rise in the thousands, we have today decided to divert our further efforts to this area in dire need.

Urgently needed aid efforts are currently being hampered by logistical difficulties with roads heavily damaged, airport and communications impaired, etc.

A navy ship currently docked at Benoa harbor, KRI dr SUHARSO 990, will be leaving tomorrow to Sulawesi packed with food supplies, tents, blankets, clothes, etc and is right now collecting donations here in Bali. Donations need to be delivered to the harbor by latest 12 noon tomorrow Tuesday 2nd.

Sulawesi (Large)

At this stage, the balance of cash donations (including donations already come in today) is 33,662,356 IDR.
Same as for Lombok, we won’t be giving any cash to the ship.
We are now organizing purchases, and will be assembling everything in our office to be delivered to Benoa harbor this evening and tomorrow morning if needed still.

Would you like to contribute, then please drop your donation at our office at Komplek Perkantoran Kuta Poleng – Blok A4, Jalan Setiabudi, Simpang Siur Square (next to Dijon) by latest 9.00am tomorrow morning. Cash donations are also welcome and we will make sure to turn the cash into what is needed the most.

If any questions or if you would like to come to our office between 7pm today and 8am tomorrow, then please contact us (0361 754 185 or 0856 380 9614).

As usual, detailed report with pictures will follow.

May God bless you all!
