BANGKOK — Four Seasons Hotel will open its doors in Bangkok come February 2020, offering 299 keys along the Thai capital’s iconic Chao Phraya River.

Located on Charoenkrung Road, the nine-acre riverfront resort’s design will be one of the key talking points, since the property’s creative aspects is helmed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy – the same name behind other luxe hospitality giants such as Aman Resorts, Park Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, St. Regis, One&Only, and Banyan Tree.

Marriott seals six-hotel deal with Prestige Group to expand in India

Marriott International and Indian real estate firm Prestige Group have signed agreements to open six new hotels across India.

Under these agreements, Prestige Group will build new hotels bearing the W, JW Marriott, Tribute Portfolio and Moxy brands across India’s Southern belt, representing nearly 1,000 rooms.

Bali’s first theme park ‘Trans Studio’ has just opened – complete with 11 rides including a rooftop rollercoaster

Bali’s first ever indoor theme park is set to open on the Indonesian holiday island on Thursday.

The family entertainment centre will be called Trans Studio Bali and will offer a rooftop rollercoaster as well as other attractions in Denpasar, the island’s capital.

CT Corp Group park will be opening the park’s doors to the public on Thursday and will share its location with Trans Studio Mall, which opened earlier this year.

CHICAGO – More than 20 new luxury hotels and resorts covering six brands will be opened worldwide by Hyatt by the end of 2020.

To develop retirement resorts, Indonesia trade proposes special visa scheme for senior travellers

The Indonesian trade is urging the government to establish a special visa regime that would give preferential treatment to elderly travellers, in the hopes that such a move would provide the backbone for the development of retirement resorts within the country.

Allowing elderly inbound tourists extended stays in the country is “an additional facility” that would stimulate the emergence of retirement resorts across the archipelago, according to Hariyadi Sukamdani, chairman of the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association (PHRI).
