Wyndham Hotel Group has just expanded its portfolio of offerings in Bali with the launch of the 155-room Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach Bali, representing the first hotel from the upper-midscale brand in Southeast Asia.

Taking over what was once The Kuta Playa Hotel & Villas, Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach Bali is the hotel group’s sixth property on the Indonesian island and its third Indonesian property to open in just four months, following the addition of Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali in November 2016 and Wyndham Surabaya last month.

Located directly across from Kuta Beach, Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach offers newly-refurbished guest rooms with airy living spaces; the spacious executive rooms and suites offer pool access and sea views. Elsewhere on the property, guests can take a dip at the family pool for children and a rooftop pool overlooking the ocean. There’s also an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a day spa, as well as meeting rooms for seminars and events.

This year, the resort will undergo a further renovation and expansion to add another 151 rooms, of which several will be swim-up pool units. A new dining establishment will be created and the hotel’s public areas will be revamped in a contemporary style, with all the improvements slated for completion at the end of 2017.
