Hotel Nikko Bangkok will open on January 16

Hotel Nikko Bangkok will open at Thonglor in Bangkok’s tourist and business centre of Sukhumvit Road on January 16.

The 301-room hotel is owned by Grand Tower Inn Group, which was founded in 1985, initially as an operator of serviced apartments targeting the Japanese corporate sector.

Jo Sato, the hotel’s general manager, said the Thonglor location, with its mix of leisure attractions and its large Japanese community, was perfect for Nikko’s style of courteous Japanese ‘omotenashi’ hospitality.

Guest rooms are on level 8 to 19 with a number of different room categories, including 10 extended stay rooms featuring a kitchenette. Nikko clubrooms are on levels 20 to 22.

The property’s Japanese bathrooms include a TOTO Washlet toilet in a separate room and bathtub.

There will be four restaurants and lounges, including Japanese restaurant, Hishou.

Meetings and events, including weddings, will be catered for in 1,800 square metres of function space.

The hotel is now taking bookings with special rates for stays from January 16 and valid until June 30, 2019.
