Wyndham Hotels & Resorts continues APAC expansion in 2022

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has expanded across Asia-Pacific with a number of recent hotel openings in 2021, with a line-up of new hotels planned this year to further strengthen its presence in the region.

In Asia-Pacific, Wyndham successfully added 120 new hotels and signed 200 properties last year, totalling over 1,600 hotels in 20 regional markets.

Outrigger acquires rigged out luxury Maldives resort

Outrigger has jumped at the opportunity to acquire a five-star resort following its recent extensive renovation.

The newly renovated five-star Maafushivaru Resort in the Maldives has been acquired by Outrigger Hospitality Group as of 1 April and renamed Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort.

Located on a private island in the South Ari Atoll region, accessible by a 25-minute seaplane flight from Male, the resort features 81 villas ranging in different styles from beach, pool and duplex accommodations in-land to overwater bungalows.
